Whats up peeps!! I was gone for a minute but back to send some holiday cheer especially to all those single parents out there!! I would know about that because I am a single parent myself! I do however have to say that my children’s father is more than involved in their lives and we are extremely great friends. I know that there are many who don’t have it like that though and I know it makes it that much harder! Maybe some of you, like me, work 2 jobs or maybe even 3 just to make ends meet. Some of us, like me, take care of an aging parent. My mother has Alzheimer’s and that makes things hard sometimes.

Christmas is always tough because you really have to budget and you still want to make it feel like Christmas for the kids! Just don’t ever lose the motivation to keep going! It is awesome what you have done for your kids! Maybe this year’s Christmas or holiday season wasn’t as great as you really hope it would be but give yourself some credit! It’s tough doing this parenting thing by yourself. There is no “Single Parent Handbook”. Mic check 1-2-1-2…is this on?  Hmmm.  I just got the login and password from the Movin IT department so together let’s see if I know what the heck I’m doing!

 Time now, as I glance at the bottom right hand corner of my computer, is 12:55 am.  I just put a load of laundry in the washing machine.  I have a hodge podge of stuff in there…some stuff I probably should have hand washed but I’m too tired!  I worked a 10 hour day today and got home in time to spend about an hour and a half with my kids before I read them a book and put them to bed.  Then I ate dinner and now I’m eating again! lol. 

I know this is the first of many blogs but I want to post it so I can see what it looks like online.  Hahah.  That’s my plan so when I know it all works because I’ve done it correctly I can start posting photos, videos, artist gossip and station gossip! ahahah YEAH, you know like insider stuff…like does Alicia really wear SUNGLASSES INSIDE THE STUDIO WHILE SHE’S ON THE AIR??  Did I really forget the combination to my locker and locked my headphones in there?  OF COURSE NOT! Uhhhh…moving on..let’s see…Has Joe Breezy run into some of the cement pillars in the CBS garage and dent his Lexus SUV because he’s a bad driver??? LOL…I’m almost positive that’s stuff you all want to know and if you don’t, well at least it was funny to me!
